Kitchen and Bathroom Sinks

What We Offer

The Sink That Fits the Countertop, the Countertop, and the Cabinet.

Sink selection is not an afterthought. The sink dimensions determine the countertop cutout, the cabinet below has to be configured for the plumbing, and the faucet selection affects the countertop drilling. Getting these three things to work together requires coordinating them from the design stage, not after the cabinets are already installed.

Dan Craig Cabinetry handles sink sourcing and installation coordination as part of a cabinetry or countertop engagement. We specify the sink at the design stage, confirm the cabinet configuration, include the cutout dimensions in the countertop fabrication order, and coordinate the plumbing rough-in with your plumber.

Sink sourcing is also available as a standalone service for clients who have already selected their cabinetry and countertops and simply need a coordinated procurement and installation.

Sink Types We Source and Install

Sink Types We Source and Install

Undermount Kitchen Sinks

The most popular kitchen sink configuration. Mounted below the countertop for a seamless transition from counter to basin. Available in stainless, composite granite, fireclay, and cast iron.

Farmhouse and Apron-Front Sinks

Large single-basin sinks with an exposed apron front. Requires specific base cabinet configuration. Available in fireclay, stainless, and cast iron. The most dramatic visual statement available in a kitchen sink.

Drop-In Kitchen Sinks

Self-rimming sinks that drop into a countertop cutout. Lower cost, easier installation, and compatible with any countertop material. Less popular aesthetically but practical for budget-sensitive projects.

Undermount Bathroom Sinks

Mounted below the vanity countertop. Available in porcelain, composite, and stone. Requires an undermount-compatible countertop material, which we specify in the fabrication order.

Vessel Sinks

Sit on top of the vanity countertop for a statement aesthetic. Require a countertop with no cutout or a shallow vessel cutout. Popular for powder rooms and master bath design statements.

Integrated Stone Sinks

Countertop and basin carved from a single piece of stone or engineered material. The highest-cost option and the most seamless visual result.

Investment Range

What Does This Cost?

Pricing reflects the quality of materials, hardware, and craftsmanship that ships standard on every Dan Craig Cabinetry project. Budget is discussed openly at the consultation so the proposal reflects what is actually achievable at your number.

If you have received a significantly lower quote elsewhere, ask what hardware is included, what the drawer box material is, and where the wood comes from. Those three questions will explain the difference.

Discuss Your Budget
Kitchen sink (supply and install)$800 – $2,500
Farmhouse apron sink (supply and install)$1,500 – $4,000
Bathroom sink (supply and install)$400 – $1,500

Kitchen and Bathroom Sinks Questions.

Do you install the plumbing as well?

No. We coordinate the sink installation and countertop cutout but we do not perform plumbing rough-in. We work with your existing plumber or can recommend a licensed plumber who coordinates with our installation schedule.

What sink brands do you work with?

We source from Kohler, Elkay, Kraus, Rohl, and Shaws for farmhouse options, and specify the right brand for the application, countertop material, and budget. We do not push a single brand.

How does sink selection affect the countertop?

The sink dimensions determine the countertop cutout size and position. For undermount installations, the countertop material must be compatible with undermount mounting, which we confirm before fabrication. Farmhouse sinks require a specific front-of-counter cutout that we specify in the cabinet and countertop drawings.

Can I choose my own sink and have you install it?

Yes. If you have already selected a sink, we confirm the specifications work with your countertop and cabinet configuration and include the correct cutout dimensions in the fabrication order.

What is the most durable kitchen sink material?

Composite granite is the most durable and scratch-resistant option. Fireclay is the most classic and holds up well in a busy kitchen. Stainless steel is the most common and the easiest to maintain. Cast iron is beautiful but heavy and requires proper cabinet support.
